Condition of Arabs before the Arrival Of Islam

Before the arrival of Islam Arabs have gloomy picture. Arabs have political organization. They have just one authority of chiefs. There were no laws. The kings were used to fight for thrones. All of the evils were present in them like gambling and killing. This was the time of ignorance. Women and slaves have no rights. They were sold in the market like animals. They were beaten up by their masters. Men were allowed to do as much as marriages as they want. Arabs were used to do worship of idols. 360 idols were placed in the Holy Kaaba. They were multiple gods. They forgot the teachings of their forefathers; Hazrat Ibrahim and their son Hazrat Ismail. On the time, there were three main centers of trading, Makkah, Madina and Damascus. Most important city was Makkah; crowds of people came there to trade from Arabia as well as many different parts of the world. Madina was also important because it was located on the fertile area of Arabia. Through Madina, you can trade to Red Sea and to the very direction. Damascus was also very good for trading. It is known as the oldest city of the world. Jews were also present in Arabia. They were leaders in Arabia. The slavery was the economic institution of Arabia.
